For example, is there a specific time that's best suited to love readings?

Certainly. Such matters of time are open to individual perspective and while many might ignore matters of magical and natural timing for the most part, if it is a particularly difficult divination I would advise it.

As for matters of love, these times could be used, some in conjunction with others:

At Dusk
On a Friday
The Sixth Day of the Month (this being defined by three days after the New Moon [New, not Dark Moon])
Full Moon
In the hour of Venus
When the Moon is in Libra or Taurus, preferably Libra
During a lunar eclipse

Those are but a few examples. If you wish to know the importance behind any or all and do not simply ask, since understanding the why is paramount.

thank you aidron, yes I already knew about friday.... but the others are new knowledge to me... please, if you care to explain it or have a link to a web site or a book recommendation I'd really want to learn more, as well as other days for certain tasks... I'd really, really appreciate it

It appears I messed up the coding for that list. Hmm.

Regardless, I can explain each if you wish in their importance from my perspective in the cases where that lies and in the cases of historical fact. I trust you will be able to decipher which is which.

Dusk: This time of day/night belongs to the element of Water, which holds dominion/influence over emotions, particularly love, and relationships.

The Sixth Day of the Month: This one has two reasonings behind it. One being numerological, six is the number of relationships and of love, marriages and the like. This relates to The Lovers card, which is also the sixth card of the major arcana. This number has associations with Aphrodite as well, but also Venus (the goddess, not the planet).

The other facet of this is that the sixth day of the month, by the Athenian calendar, was sacred to Aphrodite. It was a day to honor her and offer sacrifice, essentially her special day of any given month. If you are unaware Aphrodite is the Hellenistic (Greek) goddess of love and beauty, with Venus being her Roman counterpart.

Full Moon: While many attribute the Dark Moon (often referred to as the New Moon mistakenly) to divinations, I attribute such to the Full Moon as it is a time of illumination, when the Moon is at its peak. Thus, you draw on its magnified power at this time to illuminate your psychic talents and unconscious mind; magnifying them in turn.

Lunar Eclipse: For this you would need a total lunar eclipse, there will not be another one until 2009 I believe, but it's worth knowing about. The Moon being associated with the element of Water, as well as itself with emotions outside of that context, the lunar eclipse signifies a union and balance of solar and lunar energies, much like the harmony any healthy relationship needs (based in love or not, but especially in love). A solar eclipse could be used one may say, but since the Moon holds influence over the emotions, a lunar eclipse is thus my choice. You likewise gain the added benefit of the Moon's influence over divination.

When the Moon is in Libra or Taurus, preferably Libra: Both Libra and Taurus are ruled by the planet Venus, which itself governs love, social affairs, affections, partnerships and love among other things. Libra is the sign of partnerships, making it my preferred choice, but Taurus could be selected as well. You would need a calendar with astrological info or similar tool to know what sign the moon is in.

In the hour of Venus: To do this you must calculate the planetary hour, which can be somewhat difficult to learn at first for some, but it is quite basic which you can see once you understand how to do it. Look into planetary hours and calculating them, with Venus as I said being the planet that rules love and partnerships.
