My dad, again, had to go to the hospital, his right lung wasn't getting much oxygen. They did a broncioscope (a scope down the broncial tube) and it was a mucus plug (the same thing that about killed him the first time). While they were doing the broncioscope they about lost him (again). However they got alot of the mucus out this time, and this time they're putting him on medicine to break the rest of it up to let him cough it up.
This is certainly a lesson that no matter how good a doctor seems, if you don't question EVERY thing they very well might kill you. My dad should've been on medicine to break the mucus up since his last hospital stay (the doctor treating him now, his other doctor is on vacation) admitted as much, but he wasn't. Again, (the second time) a doctor's neglect nearly killed him.
So again I'm going to ask for prayers, positive energy, and what have you. He's through the worst of it, but we thought that last time as well. This time though, he doesn't have the pnuemonia or the infection to contend with.
