there are several stones helping head-aches as there are several causes and kinds of head-aches

from the two you mentioned, rosequartz is more likely to ease head aches.

stones that would ease head-aches are:
amethyst, amazonite, magnesite, falkons eye, emrald as well as ruby and sapphire
