I think it's like a newbie as far as religion terms is concerned...I'm not sure. But here at MW you change titles after you'[ve posted a certai nnumber of times...You can change it by going onto your profile, edit profile, and then scrolling down towhere it says...actually, I don't know what it says. Wait a sec...

ah, custom user text. Then you can change it :)

So what did everyone get up to on Samhain...
Greetings by the way... I'm fairly new around here.

I went to see a show at the college the night of the 30th... and got out early. As I was leaving, driving away... I suddenly felt very strange, as if an inrush of energy was entering into my body... I picked up the clock to see the time... and it was 12:00pm EXACTLY. I cant describe the feelings which suddenly seemed to be coming into me?

On the day of Samhain... I woke up and presantly went out for a hike into the woods. I went and found a cliff which I knew was hidden in the woods near my house... after some more exploring I found a platform which someone had built in the woods. They are fairly common, and people use them to set up their tents, and in some cases live on them for years. It was a very nicely built construction... however whoever had used it had completly destroyed the nature and the landscape around it. Their were dozens of empty chip bags, cookie bags, jell-o containers, beer cans, pop-bottles, plastic bags, broken bottles, newspaper, EVERYWHERE. I was disgusted. The people who had used this beutiful spot obviously had no real appreciation of the beuty of Nature.

I spent the next hour or so cleaning up their mess, making quite the pile of debris in a corner of the platform. I wrote them a note on the wall of the platform for them to read if they ever return.

I than sat down and did a meditation on my runes. I slowly pulled 9 runes from my bag and meditated on each one. Every rune I pulled had a positive feeling with it. I had several candals burning and incense smoking beside me.

That night I left a light in my window, and went out to one of the local halloween parties at a bar in town.

Once the bars closed at 2am, I took a 3.5 hour walk back to my house.

SO that was my Samhain...
Peace
