Big Surprise!!!

I got home from my job interview today, and i looked in the storm drain thing next to my house! There was a bobcat just lying there chilling out... we called animal control, but were on hold for half an hour, so by the time the guy picked up, the kitty was gone. Anyways, they are supposedly sending someone over to check it out... bobcats definitely do not belong in my neighborhood... I did get a few shots of it though, this one is my favorite:

Looks like a regular tomcat with bobcat markings, not really a bob. Maybe he's a hybrid, I have a couple of those myself. He's gorgeous none-the-less.

Ummm that looks like a big kitty. I thought a bob had no tail.. lemme go look.

i know he looks like a regular cat, but his tail is actually shorter than it looks... when he walks, its several inches off the ground, and he's about the size of a medium dog... i'm thinking he's a sort of hybrid... anyways, animal control never came, so i'm upset with them... but i guess he's not doing any harm, so i guess its okay...

He's a really beautiful animal. From the pic, he does just look like a big tomcat. Perhaps he is a hybrid.

Looks normal to me too.
Then again it's a LOT better than the last wild animal surprise my family got.
