tigerlad right click on my blinkie and open properties and copy the ULR then go to edit signeture and click on add picture(it looks like mountains)then press ctrl v and then ok and bam ya got the blinkie

So, what do you all do around here? :D

Me, personally, I've been obsessed with dragons ever since I was... well, for about 7 years. :) Which is a hefty chunk of my life! I have an extensive dragon picture collection on my PC at home. :)

I watched this awesome thing about if Dragons really existed on the Discovery channel I think it was. It was narrated by Patrick Stewart. :D It showed how they might have had these special sacks (kind of like lungs) that were filled with helium, which is why they flew so easily with such small wings. They ate Pyrite that they found in the mountains and it went into these sacks, mixed with the helium, and reacted by... igniting? So then they would seem to be breathing fire. :)

It was by far the coolest thing on the telly that I've seen in a long while about dragons. I near cried by the end because it showed the last couple of dragons and their baby, and how they died and everything. I highly suggest watching it if it's on. :)

I saw it, neener neener! I especially took an interest because I'm studying Zoology, and they did pretty good of presenting the whole thing as if they had actually found a dragon fossil.

Also how have people here worked with dragons on a personal and magical level? Any good stories of guides? what have people found to be dragon's personalities?

I have some exerperienc with them, but not as much as of late and I am trying to get back in touch with the Spirit of Dragon.

The blue one is named Alex he represents the future and all the good that has happened to me and the red one is named Phoenix he represents all the past and the hell I went through to get where I am today. I need each of them or I am not complete. They balance each other out.

I tend to have a beeswax candle burning to acknowledge Pheonix and a shell with water in it to acknowledge Alex, it's like a little shrine to them so I know that they are there, and so that they know I will never forget them. They are always there for me and I am very honoured to have them as my guides, my strengths and weaknesses but also as my friends. yeah, thats not rambling your lucky. I'm trying to figure out who the hell my family was because i suspect i might have Elven blood(Light footsteps with huge feet and slightly pointed ears),Vampire blood(heat stroke at 60* F), and dragon blood(Persinality).

I know I have dragon and vampire blood, but I think I might have some type of cat creature blood also. As alot of my characteristics are that of a cat. I even purr and growl!

heh... im a dragon by my birth sign in chinese astrology. And their my favorite mythological creature! when i was 3 i started drawing detailed dragons... my mom even saved them. i dont know how i even knew how to draw them! i just did!

Unfortunately no, All i have to do is mention the sun and I burn. wearing black is a bad idea, I also tend to jump into shade as soon as I can. OOOOOOOO and a good sun block. lol. You might go poof in the sun :veryweird :rollingla sorry couldn't resist. Buffy fans think that vampires actually go poof in the sun. It's hilarious! I found out that I was a dragon through meditation and the vampire thing dates back through the entire of my family back to the druids. I think I'm just some kind of weird concotion. :rollingla

I have always felt a connection with dragons, for some reason or another. My brother was reading this book about dragons and how to meditate on them and stuff. I'll see if he has it and can give me a title or something. :)

Not sure if anyone caught the recent History Channel show "Quest for Dragons"? It was really interesting to see how the belief of Dragons permiated all ancient civilizations, bridging continents and crossing oceans...

It's described on their site as:
A spirited exploration of the history, science, and legend of the world's most notorious beast--the dragon, the best-known creature that never was. Throughout history, dragons influenced wars, science, art, and religion. They appear in almost every culture and many still believe in dragons. How could different cultures, isolated by geology and millennia, all invent the same creature? If the dragon is simply the product of our imagination, how could distant peoples, with no knowledge of each other, all invent the same beast? One of the reasons dragons are a perennial favorite is that even though they are the ultimate predator and antagonist, it's also fun to identify with them. In the end, we want to be the dragon as much as we may want to slay the dragon.

I love them, adore them and have my very own, named HYSYTYPHUS. He is one of my guides and a totum for me. I clloect dragons, use them for pc wallpaper and even have some hung on my bedpost as well. Dragons are some of the most wonderful and loyal friends you can have. When asked if I believe in dragons, the answer is a big YES!!
