In trying to keep from bringing a life into this world that I am as of now unable to care for, I have turned to modern medicine and a tiny pill to stave off fruition of my womb. But I find that in doing so, my passion has subsided as well. This pill has cured a hormone imbalance at the same time it has warded me against unwanted children, but that hormone imbalance was what made me flame with passion at a touch.
Gods and Goddesses of Passion, I pray that I will be able to join with my lover when my heart wants to. I do not wish my body's inability to get in the way any more. I ask for passion---not so much that it is hard to function in daily life (I still need to be able to pay attention in class!!), but enough that when my lover is in the mood, his touch can stir in me that same desire to become one with him.
Heal the yoni that is so often unwilling now. Stir in me the beginnings of the passion I once had.
