Hi!

Apologies if there is a similar thread elsewhere, but I really love hearing stories about interesting outcomes of all kinds of spells. Whether it's big or small, good or bad, or just really funny, I like all the stories about things that have happened as a result of spells. :)

well, i did a spell/healing bag for my friend who has cancer, and she became cancer free within 2 months.

The only spells I know without a doubt have worked was a healing spell I did for a pet rat. She was dying, and I wanted to see if the carrying out a spell (as the last resort) would do any good. I spent a lot of time before and afterwards asking her what she wanted, (I was torn between, getting her put down, or letting her die) she told me several days later, when she died.

I think the most potent results for me came from a healing dolly I made for a friend. I fashioned a poppet to look a bit like her stuffed it with herbs and some personal items for her and gave it to her. She had Crones and was pregnant so suffering quite a lot. The poppet kept her well fit and healthy for 12 months then some how it managed to fall off the top of her bookcase. Within and hour she was rushed into surgery and had to have part of her bowl removed because it had ruptured. Though I'm very pleased the magick kept her well for a year I'm very carefull about what I do with my poppets now. I tend to not alow the person to keep hold of them since that happened.

i used spells as a last resort so the last ones i remember well that worked were i did one to help find a new job where i would keep my piercings and I found one in about a week then I also did one to move back out east and im moving in september.

I've only done 2 spells, both which worked. It was 2 money spells. The first one was done in Nov or Dec of 2003. In Feb 2004 my husband got a new job making about $5000 more a year. Around the same time in 2004, I did the same spell. My MIL got some money for her house from all the hurricane damage(she's in Florida). She sent us about $3000 for a down payment on this house, which we officially bought Feb 28th, 2005. So yes, my spells have worked. But it took a couple months for them to work and they worked in ways some might not expect!

I find that magic nearly *always* will work in unexpected ways. My theory is that magic takes the path of least resistance (like electricity ;)) and because we often overlook the most obvious solutions and outcomes, we don't see things coming when we involve magic. I've preformed maybe... ten spells in the time since I began studying witchcraft, and I've never yet had one which didn't work. One or two backfired nicely, though, and I learned that all the fancy wording in the world cannot help you if your intent is not pure. Shall I elaborate? Oh alright... *grin*

I cast a spell about a year ago on one of my friends. A guy friend, actually. (Bet you can tell where this is going...) Well, anyway, I'd had strong feelings for him for over a year when I finally decided to involve magic and attempt to do *something* with our relationship-- but I couldn't ignore the hundreds upon hundreds of warnings I'd come across in my studies about free will and how I really shouldn't try to mess with emotions. So... I worded my spell *very* carefully, making sure to specify that I wanted our friendship to become stronger and trust to deepen between us and just to *invite* the possibility of a romatic relationship if he were willing. It sounded very nice-- but on the inside I was practically screaming "Fall in love with me! Free will be damned!" Oh boy.

So; a few days passed, and then WHAM. For the first time in the five years we'd been friends; he lied to me, and I caught him out. A huge fight ensued, involving days of stony silence and angry phonecalls and general pandemonium. In the space of 48 hours, we'd gone from best mates to *hating* one another. It was awful. It took me a few days to catch on what I'd done. We'd made up and apologised; but everything felt different. We were cold and unemotional towards one another-- I could barely stand to be in the same room as him. I know he felt the same towards me. Eventually I realised that the spell had to be broken. My own impure intent had bound us both into a chaotic and damaging relationship. I severed the spell, and within a week we had returned to normal. He's still none-the-wiser about it; and as for me? Lesson learned. 8O

I can't remember all the spells I've cast, but just about all of them worked. ^^

One I made a poppet and a spell for gaining some personal money, at the end of the month I'd gotten 100$ with no strings attatched. Now that I don't renew the poppet any more the money's stopped coming! Eep.

I was spending the night at my little sisters house and she wanted me to show her some magic, so we took two of our bracelets and blessed them for invisibility. She wore hers and went in front of a group of people with this HUGE grin on her face, then the people turned around and were like, "Yes? What do you want?" She was discouraged. The next day I wanted some privacy from everyone, so I activated my bracelet and went right outside her apartment door, setting just to the right of it with my book. I managed to stay "hidden" for an hour, so much so that she actually called my mom, who called the cops, and everyone thought I'd ran away. -_- So I decided it was time to be seen by then, I got up and she came out of the house, looked right at me, then went around the corner and screamed my name. I remembered I still was using the bracelet, so I took it off. As soon as I did one of her friends screamed, "LIA! THERE YOU ARE! OMG!"

Once I was really upset and just focused on destroying all my enemies.. At the end of the month from the time I'd "cast" it, I found out the girl who was hitting on my boyfriend just found out she had bone cancer, and my niece's pokemon game got totally erased (when you battle someone on pokemon, there title shows up at "Your Enemy _____ has attacked!"). It was scary, but totally cool.

Once one of our close family friends had been missing for almost three weeks. His family and none of his friends had seen him. We called the police and tried to file a missing persons, but only the FAMILY can do that (his family is so ungrateful they didn't even care!) Anyway, I was worried, so I did a tarot reading on him. It said he'd settled down with a girl who was pregnant or going to be soon. A week after that, out of the blue, our friend calls our house and we're all so excited! My mom, who is like a second mom to him, demanded where he'd been. He told her he'd moved out of state and found a girl friend and had a good job.

I have done a few spells but there is one that is still going and I haven't found a way to stop it yet.
I made a Mojo bag up for money. I was very low on money and knew that if i didn't do something soon i was going to be out of a house with 3 kids to care for and no means to do it. So i wrote up a spell for money mojo. Gathered all the ingredients, performed the spell, put it all together and within a week my outcome had brightened. Money was coming in from people that owed me but wouldn't pay up before, I found a job and things were looking great for me and my family.
I felt there was no need now for the mojo bag, as i didn't see the need to be greedy about it and gave it to a friend of mine that was in financial difficulty. Within 3 weeks her difficulties were over. But then her husband came home and he was the greedy sort and found himself getting money as well. But this time it was coming from unscroupulus sources and i felt that i needed to get the bag away from them. So I took the bag and gave it to another friend that was in a bit of money trouble. She has had great success with it. Everytime she finds herself without money, the next day (or the day after) money arrives from some source. Usually money owed to her or money from the government etc.
The problem is, this person is now being very greedy and wanting more and more and I have no idea how to stop the spell. She wont give the bag back! and I have no idea where she has hidden it. But I feel that you should never take more than you need and am still searching for a way to stop this. Normally i would just pull the bag apart and return all ingredients to the earth. This time i can't :(

Hmmm interesting stories...I once made my entire room shake. I drew down some amazing healing energies to help a friends sister, and my room started shaking, nowhere else, but all my photos and hanging were knocked wierdly, glasses fell over, my candles were in danger of doing so too...need to weight them more. My body trembled slightly, I tell you I never felt so much energy as I called down to help her.
Another.....I did a protection one which made my ears ring. That was kinda confusing. Worked out where I went wrong and adjusted it.
Did an anti-hex that for some reason sent so much good fortune down on us I think to this day someone else did a spell to help us out.

I'm sorry about your friend being that way, but I'm glad it worked for you! Have you tried to put a binding spell on the money bag?

The spell I did to attract my soulmate came from Yasmine Galenorn's "Embracing the Moon." I don't remember what the time frame was......but I met him here - and he turned out to be a little crippled guy who couldn't breathe.......and was one of the most wise, creative and loving human beings who ever walked this earth - and the greatest love of my life.

So, be careful what you ask for.

You could try doing it in a meditation? Just imagine the bag, and do whatever you would normally do to deactivate it, then just withdraw the energy and put it to the Earth or back to you.

Everyone gets what they deserve eventually, but I wouldn't be worried about the Universe giving you any mayhem over attempting to restore the balance. ^^

The more I learn about magic, the more I realize that spells are reflections of their crafters.

I am the kind of person who does everything best when I do it under the wire - school papers, work projects, artistic projects - give me a deadline of any kind, and I'll sit on my tuchus reading the "Onion" until the last possible instant and then give you 150% of my time and energy - for exactly as long as it takes to finish the project. Why should my magic be any different? Once, I set a spell to have a job by the end of a certain month - I got a job offer on the last day of that month. Another time I did a spell to give me the strength and perserverance to clean my apartment before my parents came to visit; I put the last box away five minutes after they called to say they'd picked up their rental car and were on their way from the airport!
