Rune Interpretation

Okay... question.

I recently did a 3 rune cast for myself, to ask about my presant and near future.

I pulled:
Raido: journeying, rides, change... etc.
Nauthiz: Need, poverty, hardship
Thurisaz: Xifts, associated with hardship, help with study

Nauthiz and Thurisaz gave me a strong negative feeling. Raido corrasponed with a possible journey which I might have to take in the relativly near future, and the other two suggested it might turn out to be negative.

However... when I cast the runes, they all turned up reversed (upside down). They landed in a rough triangle with Raido and Nauthiz landing closer together than Thurisaz.

This cast confused me... however what I got from it was that this event which I am foreboding may not turn out as bad as I belive.

I did another cast asking just about this journey... (which I will soemday have to take) and got a very positive response.

However I would love to hear someone elses interpretation.

Nauthiz indicates something from the past, about which you feel guilt or regret. This trip is to resolve those feelings. Nauthiz is also a Rune of potential, the potential to overcome (fulfill) our need. Thurisaz represents both the Thurse (Giants) & Thor (the Giant God), & the conflict between them. You have conflicting feelings about making the trip, but it seems it's necessary so you can resolve what has already passed. Thurisaz also represents protection of the highest order, so trust that nothing too unpleasant will come of this.

Nauthiz, Raido, Thurisaz: you need to make this journey to resolve this conflict in your life caused by feelings of regret from the past.
