grounding & centering

Ok, everybody is probably gonna laugh & I find it amusing as well. Thankfully I can laugh at myself. LOL Everytime I ground & or center myself I fall asleep!! :zzz: :zzz: I don't really know how I'm doing it, I just wake after a while not really remembering how I got in a horizontal position. LOL Mind you it's a very restful sleep better than when I actually go to sleep for the night. LOL I'm not getting anything done though. I wanted to try my hand at some candle magic in hopes to aid a friend who is have a very hard time. I had a dream whilst I was asleep that I did the candle magic for her, think that counts? LOL I'm getting frustrated, this has happened almost everytime I ground & center myself & has happened when I meditate as well. You are most welcome.Usually things like that happen because You become too relaxed and perhaps do not rest well when you do sleep. I found changing to a different method very helpful for me.

I actually have the same problem, when I'm trying to reach a clear-minded state and ground myself, I drift off to sleep without being aware that it's happening. I've been struggling with this for some time now. It's kind of funny too, especially because I'm pretty insomniac. The most sure-fire way of me falling asleep is for me to try to stay awake while I'm meditating or grounding. XD Shalaye, would you mind sharing your alternative method with me as well?
