When we had cats I had one that was always seeing stuff, could have been fae folk along with spirits. We do have some tricks going on around here that I credit to the fae but I've never seen one with my naked eye. I do on occasion put milk & honey outside for them near where I grow wildflowers.

I have Brian Frouds Faery Oracle deck and so I don't view the Fae as being all cute little sweethearts. I also have Frouds Faeries book which tells you of mean things they can do to people. So that's how I see them, some are pretty & nice & some are creepy & mean.

I handle them like spirits, with care and caution.

Sure I see them. You just have to be careful when you have any dealings with the shinning ones. Some are nastier than others. Most don't have a problem using you if they need something. If your worried about things getting out of hand carry a piece of iron with you. Most of the time things won't get that bad. The best thing to do deal with them the same way you would with people. Some want to help you and aren't bad at all and other do.

    For the faeries

Nearby there are several places which are perfect for faerie congregations, yet they are unsafe. It is vital that I invoke a protective light for the rings in the nearby area - so mote it be.

I should go take some pictures of the places I am talking about. I am sure some of you would truly appreciate what I am talking about. Besides, we just got a new digital camera and it would be a perfect photo opportunity.

Maybe that is what I will do tomorrow.

    Photo Gallery

I went out and took some really nice photos of one of the several mining ruins nearby which I believe makes a very nice little habitat for the Faerie Folk that might live nearby. If you want to look at it, go to http://www.goddess.owns1.com/artgallery/.

There are a lot of mining ruins, such as these and other spots which are literally Faerie paradise.

    Update

Since I started this poll, my photo gallery of a Faerie Paradise has been stricken from the arc Internet. I believe it is still available on the real Internet, but not the arc Internet.

Also, since this thread was new, the locations I describe in it have cleared of the negativity that I was seeing. It turns out that I was just seeing negative energy in my own body, that the energy of the locations I described were actually much much higher in reality. There were maybe trace elements of negative energy, but nothing dangerous or harmful to anyone or anything, unless they were living on the arc side.

I would believe it if someone told me that there is a lot of faerie art from my farm, on the real Internet.

See them? My son invites gremlins and kitchen fae into our home, rotten little bastards the lot of them.

For those who are about to post "awww I want a kitchen fae" NO YOU DO NOT!!! They will only clean in return for food, a year's worth of service for a single meal, but what they eat is human flesh. Though they can be fooled into performing more service before being fed, in the end you either have to bestow them on someone else or feed them. Bestowing them on someone else is trickier than catching a leprechaun.

No, I haven't seen a Fae. I would like to, though I am cautious. I've heard horror stories. They can be rotton little buggars.

But if you think about it you hear horror stories about a lot of things. Most aren't true, they were just made up by people who don't understand and want everyone else to feel the same fear they did. I would love to see a Fae. Even if just to satisfy my curiosity.
