    This past week:

    Memoirs of a Geisha
    Millenium Actress
    Saved!
Profit (TV series starring Adrian Pasdar that ran for about four weeks that probably nobody else remembers, but it was really good and just came out on DVD.)

I'm a bit of a Cheech and Chong-a-holic, so I watched "Up in Smoke" and "Still Smokin'" last night...the night before I watched "Born in East L.A"...and the night before that I saw "Next Movie".

I just can't get enough of those guys! :rollingla They just crack me up!

A guy the I talk to on the phone because of work recommended it one night. It's usually all business without an opportunity to chat, but he was really excited about this movie.

    Now I know why.

It is cool. Funny, eerie and tragic, all at the same time. You will forget you're watching Shakespeare, because it's so clever. Or, perhaps you'll be reminded you're watching Shakespeare, because it's so clever.

And you'll never think of a Fry-o-later the same way, ever again.

Hostel - Supposed to be a horror or adventure film, and it turns out to be neither. Horrifying is a better description, I suppose. Couple icky bits, but inconsistent. There were lots of opportunities to build tension and then sustain it through to the end of the movie ... missed opportunities.
