    DEAD MAN with Johnny Depp.
Weird, but nifty. Trippy! Neil Young did the soundtrack.

The Rush 30th anniversary DVD. I know it isn't really a movie, but it is my favorite band live on DVD and it is something I watch occasionally.

There really isn't many movies I care to watch more than once.

"If someone gets into your house, which would you rather have, a handgun or a telephone? You can call the police if you want, and they'll get there, and they'll take a picture of your dead body. But they can't get there in time to save your life. The first line of defense is you." ~ Tom Palmer

"It's not an endlessly expanding list of rights – the "right" to education, the "right" to health care, the "right" to food and housing. That's not freedom, that's dependency. Those aren't rights, those are the rations of slavery – hay and a barn for human cattle." ~ Alexis De Tocquiville

The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio (cute, heartwarming, interesting tale of resourcefulness)

Candyman (visually striking, haunting score, but pretty lame as far as horror/slasher movies go. Needs more gore.)

Kannazuki no Miko - I'm not sure what the giant mechs have to do with the magickal part of the plot.

Samurai Jack - coworker lent this to me. I'm sure he meant well, but I don't get it.

    This week I rented:

A History of Violence (loved it - I love my Viggo)
    North Country (loved it)
Amityville Horror (the remake - eh, it was okay)
    Inside Man (loved it)

I know I rented 5 but I can't remember the last movie, I guess it didn't make that much of an impression on me.

I don't want animals stressed or crowded or treated cruelly or inhumanely because that makes them probably less delicious"...Anthony Bourdain
