    A Modicum of Caution

    Consider carefully before you reveal your beliefs to others, especially those who you don't know all that well. (coming from a crone with a pentagram tattooed on her shoulder, that's pretty funny, huh!)
    But people - no matter how 'cool' they may seem - will surprise you , in how conservative, dogmatic, ignorant, and intolerant they can be.

    Now that is a really important one. Even if it is your friend... it can suprise you. And I talk from personal experience. That's why today I conceal my believes as good as I can.

    Just because someone else may belong to a more 'mainstream' faith, doesn't necessarily mean that they automatically hate you, are afraid of you or want to convert you.

    There is no one set of beliefs that every Pagan adheres to. Be honest about what you believe, and don't try to squeeze yourself into someone else's truths about gods or magic or anything else.

    (Learned that one the hard way.)
    If you're lucky you'll find something that reflects you,
    helps you feel your life protects you,
    cradles you and connects you to everything.

    Amen.

    My $0.02: Examine advice given to you carefully. Even the most sensible sounding advice can be a tin of $#!+, so make sure what you're being told is accurate and useful. Don't feel obligated to take someone's advice if it sets off Woo-Woo Warning Bells™ in your head - but don't disregard GOOD advice just because you're too lazy to take it.

    Laugh, frequently.
    Softly cross your fingers at the Witching Hour;
