    if the stone was just for color I would vote for apatite....the neon green/blue kind....loving that one

    Fluorite, I've found some lovely pieces and they are soothing and are on my top ten fave list.

    besides, a tid bit info on hematite

    hematite is NON magnetic. most hematite on the market is actually hematine, which is sllightly magnetic; meaning it will not stick to metal, but will mess up a compass needle

    hematine/hematite is very close in prosperities regarding healing though.

    not to my knowledge.

    hematine may stand for
    1. brazilian 'hematite' - which is slightly magnetic, as it is not only Fe3 but alo contains Fe2
    2. it may be a compound, made of hematite/hematine powder and pressed together. alike reconstructed stones as tourquoise made of its powder (not the artificial stuff)
