Oh, I forgot about board (Trouble) and pretend games (House, School and Star Wars). :D

"There's always a lot of magic, but our way of seeing is very small and we mostly just call it Nature. Why, we are not at all surprised that we can pick an apple in the autumn that was a pink flower in the spring. That's natural magic and we don't really notice it."

    I liked the hiding-finding-chasing games...
    -capture the flag
    -kick the can
    -hide and seek
    oh, and....
    -DRESS UP!
Everybody's got wings...it's just a question of where you stashed them.

    red-rover
    red-light green-light
    hide n seek
    freeze tag

I still love to play hide n seek with my kids. I was playing with the youngest in September. He was hiding in the corn stalks and I could never find him!

Ooooooooh...Red rover. We used to play that at recess all the time- I'm surprised I never got hurt in all that time, then just recently I messed up my wrist playing.

But you learn to love the rough games when you're "one of the guys"

Hide and seek (probably my personal favorite)
    Doctor/Vet (I LOVED animals)
Red Rover (rubs her still-sore wrists)
    Candy Land
    Riding Bikes
    Chutes and Ladders
    Monopoly
    Sorry!
    Trouble
    Mother, May I?
    Red Light/Green Light
Freeze Tag (and tons of different versions of it)
Dress up (why I loved acting so much)
    Duck, Duck, Goose
Beat the crap out of Radocs (*grins sweetly*)
    Swordfighting
    Climbing trees
    House
    Cops and Robbers
    Life
    Clue
    I Spy (very limited)
    Pretend (a LOT)
The Spy Club (inspired by Harriet the Spy)
I'd also organize various singing groups with my friends
    what if everything around you
    isn't quite as it seems?
what if all the world you think you know
    is an elaborate dream?
and if you look at your reflection
is that what you want it to be?
what if you could look right through the cracks
    would you find yourself--
    find yourself afraid to see?

what if all the world's inside of your head
    just creations of your own?
your devils and your gods all the living and the dead
    and you're really all alone
you can live in this illusion
    you can choose to believe
you keep looking but you can't find the woods
while you're hiding in the trees

That's only two words! And those blue barrels did far more damage than you have ever done.. except for at my graduation party.
