I believe they do, as much as I have one anyway. I believe every living being has a soul

I have had many dogs. They all had souls, and brains and personalities. I have meant many humans that are dumber than rocks. Case closed.

No. I don't believe human beings have one either.

Some probably do not. There are a few of those types here.
Even though I am not Christian, and not Wiccan, I do believe most folks have souls.
While my dogs are not the most brilliant in wild dog standards, they respond to their names and certain words, they want to be with me when I feel bad, just like the cats do. They play, they have fun and express anxiety. They recognize their human pack mates when they come in the door and stop barking when they are acknowledged. All they ask for is love and food. And sometimes not even food. They are fed well and are loved, and seem very happy. That is a soul in my eyes. A living, loving creature that live for love and provide it unconditionally. WAY more than most people are willing to give.

Me neither. There are simply too many multipliers in a soul argument.

I must admit that I've never really given much idea to the thought of souls. But I would think that since humans are animals with souls, and dogs are animals too, I would assume that A=C B=C and therefore, A=B. In other words, yes, dogs have souls. On a side note, I think the Presbyterian church sides with the Simpons:

Janey: Will my dog, Pepper, be there?
    Sunday School Teacher:
I'm sorry but the answer is, no.
    Janey:
    Why not?
    Sunday School Teacher:
    Because heaven is for people
    Lisa:
    What about my cat, Snowball?
    Sunday School Teacher:
I'm sorry but the answer is no.
    Milhouse
: Will there be cavemen in heaven?
    Sunday School Teacher: Certainly not!
Bart: Um, ma'am, what if you're a really good person, but you get into a really, really bad fight and your leg gets gangrene and it has to be amputated. Will it be waiting for you in heaven?
Sunday School Teacher: For the last time, Bart, yes!

Marge: Lisa, Bart, what did you two learn in Sunday school today?
Lisa: The answers to deep theological questions.
Bart: Yeah. Among other things, apes can't get into Heaven.
Homer: What? Those cute little monkeys? That's terrible. Who told you that?
    Bart: Our teacher.
Homer: I can understand how they wouldn't let in those wild jungle apes, but what about those really smart ones who live among us, who roller-skate and smoke cigars?

Sunday School Teacher: (Exhausted) The ventriloquist goes to heaven, but the dummy doesn't.
    Bart: Oh, oh, oh! Me!
    Sunday School Teacher: Bart?
Bart: What about a robot with a human brain?
Sunday School Teacher: I don't know! All these questions! Is a little blind faith too much to ask?
