    What's for dinner?

So tonight I was, if you hadn't read any other threads I've posted in, craving red meat! Almost to the exclusion of any other food.

    So tonight I'm dining on:

Flank steak medium rare with diced veggies in orzo and baby corns mixed with shredded carrots and red-peppers. To wash it down Beringer 2004 merlot.

I'm a VERY happy camper right now.

So what's on your menu for dinner?

I made a roast in the crock pot for the boy.. way too fatty.. He ate a bit, ate the carrots and red potaoes.. and was dissapointed at his back to school feast.. so I asked him what he wanted ( this was first choice.. I just bought a bad one)and he had pizza rolls.

Now, I plan to make wild rice soup for him this weekend.

I made (not bought) beef gorditas. I serve them with sour cream, mixed cheese, black olives, and spicy sauce. It's one think I know my sons will eat without too much complaining.

Tonight is meatless night. If I don't go to dinner with friends tonight I'll make a veggie curry with home grown eggplant, red bells, yellow zucchini and chickpeas over jasmine rice.

Last night was mozzarella, tomato, & cipolini paninis with basil on parmesan focaccia, a side of pan-fried new potatoes with minced garlic and dill, and blueberry-ginger galette for dessert.

Tonight will probably be mixed veggie grill with feta with a side of rice and more galette.

Have I mentioned how much I adore CSA season?
