Under The Dome - Steven King
So tie me to a post and block my ears
I can see widows and orphans through my tears
I know my call despite my faults
    And despite my growing fears

But I will hold on hope
And I won't let you choke
On the noose around your neck

And I'll find strength in pain
And I will change my ways
I'll know my name as it's called again
~ Mumford and Sons (The Cave)

I just finished Istanbul: Memories and the City by Orhan Pamuk. It's a memoir about his life in Istanbul and his reflections on the nature of the city, and I actually really enjoyed it.

I'm also reading A History of Witchcraft by Russell & Alexander, which is also very good and very accurate. It even goes into the Neopagan movement in the last few chapters.

Where the calm fields of snow become one with the sky
I am there; I am waiting as time passes by
I set up the weather to suit how you feel
Drop rain down with wishes, build grace out of steel

    Buried in sorrow,
    I'll guard your mind

Watched Prince Caspian over the weekend, which has gotten me into a kick of reading the Chronicles of Narnia in publication order, which for me is the RIGHT order (I don't want to see how the world is created before Lucy discovers it the first time, it's just not proper!).

I am the religious right. Just not the religion most people expect.
