    THE HEZICOS TAROT New Deck!

    Hi

Just wanted to share with you all the launch of my self published tarot deck The Hezicos Tarot, images can be seen on my website www.hezicostarot.com

It has taken me three years to complete my deck and if anyone is thinking of self publishing and would like to ask some questions, I can certainly help and would love to share everything that I have learnt down this road.

My deck has a fey theme running through it and is very unusual, I am a Trompe l'oeil artist and have used this technique when creating the box for my cards. There is no computer imagery used everything is painted in watercolours.

I would be thrilled if some of you tarot lovers, like me, would spare a moment to view my deck.

Thanks and love and light to you all

This deck is really cute! Great work.

I found your Fool looking over the cliff to be interesting, since the Fool is usually drawn as though he is completely oblivious to the ledge he's about to step off of. Did you do that for any particular reason? I also like that there are more ledges / paths that he could choose.

I suppose the only criticism I might have is in your Courts. They are lovely, but they are all very similar as well.

I love how the suits each have a main character and a theme going on.

I've never self-published, but you might ask someone like Major Tom (Tom Schick), Sidhe-Ra and Chronata... all of whom I know have self-published before (and all can be found on Aeclectic as well, if you can't find them here).
:fpraise: All hail the mighty SEARCH function! :fpraiseyo

I also find it interesting you have two dogs on The Fool card.

It is very neat that you are creating your very own deck!
