    How do you define spirituality?

Im curious as to other non-theists thoughts about this.

How do define spirituality? Why do you consider yourself spiritual?

Laughing, someone making a comment that makes you smile, validation, or even downing someone can brighten your day.

When I see the word "spirit"(uality) I see more of... well a spirit. I suppose you could define it in a way as simply your councious and how you feel - but I don't really see that as being "spiritual". I view spiritual more of supernatural spirits in nature, not just something that brightens your day. I see that as something that makes you happier, unless you define spirituality as a mental state of focus?

For me spirit is conscious energy, period.
It can inhabit a physical body of any kind, or not.
    Its just an existence.

Theres nothing 'supernatural' about it. Its totally natural conscious energy.
I am spiritual because of what I just said.
    I believe in spirit, obviously.

i'm not sure if i can define spirituality -- at least, not the kind i experience. it's more of a feeling than a thought, a type of energy rather than a word or act. maybe i'll come back to this forum and leave another comment if i figure out how to more accurately put it into words.
