Now that the Summer's here I've got to buy berries, all kinds of berries. Peaches, plums and nectarines.

I'm growing my own lettuces and arugula, sweet onions and yellow globe zucchini so I don't have to buy those. But I'll buy any in season produce I can find.

Fruit as we eat so much of it. Normally satsumas, bananas and apples

Kale. If they have it, I will buy it. I LOVE kale.

Mushrooms, because we use it for a lot of things, and they are delicious.

Sweet potatoes. They are amazing, and great for anything from dips to pizza toppings.

Something gluten free. In the last few years, I've developed a gluten intolerance. When I go to a grocery store & find a new GF product, I have to try it, even if it's something I would never have eaten if I could eat the non-GF version & even if it's pricey (because GF food always costs more).

Bananas. Phoebe loves them, and they don't last very long. (Especially not when she eats only about an inch of banana a day and I eat the rest of it for breakfast..... tastes great on multigrain bread with chunky peanut butter, raisins and cinnamon. And a glass of milk.)

I also do commissions, so if you're interested in having me paint something specifically for you, just contact me. Mention that you're an MW member, and get a 5% discount on your specially commissioned piece. And if the piece has an animal as the subject, I'll see to it that future sales of the prints also benefit a rescue organization devoted to that species/breed.)
