    grounding exercises

    what exercise do you use to practice grounding? do u both release and take in energy before and after ritual work OR do you take in before, and release after? whats a good way to practice grounding for a beginner?

    I generally picture myself as a tree, where my back is the trunk and my head reaches to the sky. from there, I visualize the moving energy flowing down my body and into the roots I've grown, sending the energy back down into the ground.

    I usually sit down, relax, and imagine roots going from my feet and spine down into the ground. Then I imagine the excess energy going down through those roots and down into Mother Earth. Eating is also very grounding.
