    Make a boring wall interesting.

I turned a basement room into a classroom. I home-school. I didnt know what to do with the boring concrete walls so I painted them!!!
The tree broke up the drab big wall and the other wall (green and black) is our chalk board. I used homemade chalkboard paint for the chalk board and it works great!!! All the paint was latex based and worked on the concrete just fine.
    No more boring basement walls.

The tree was fun!!! Especially when the paint started to run in a few spots and I decided that instead of fight it, I would help it!! Then I decided to toss some paint at the wall.....I went goofy and had a blast!
I hate painting but had fun doing these walls.

I now have plans for the rest of the house.

Very nice. If only more homeschooling parents would create such creative learning spaces for their students.

    Thanks everyone.
The kids like it too. It looks really neat when we turn off the lights and light candles for our meditation period. :D
