    Another option besides candles is potpourri, it can be a little expensive to start up with buying the equipment but it is rather inexpensive if you make your own. You can make large batches at a time and it keeps for a while. There are countless sources on the internet and in books on how to make potpourri.

    My favs are Yankee Candle and Colonial Candle but lately I have been purchasing North Shore collection by Island Candle Company from Hawaii.

    I also like a lot of the Yankee Candle scents. Cost Plus has some really nice scents. My favorite scent from Cost Plus is Asian Poppy. The Tahitian Vanilla and Indonesian Teak is pretty good too.
