I've been feeling the positive effects of working with my doctors and medication. Over the past week, I've made leaps of progress--for instance, yesterday I was nice to everyone, spoke clearly and articulately, and met people's eyes. If you were helped out by a slightly violet-haired girl in glasses when you walked into your local discount book store and desperately needed your next reading list number for school, know that something so simple and helpful took so much time and effort and practice for her to do.

Funny how such a heavy thing cannot be seen, felt, or understood unless communicated.

    Talking

Earlier this week I was in deep thought while walking down a hallway.
I almost walked into the wall, BUT I DIDN'T!

It was a really close call; I was very lucky.

    I did two things:

    1) I finally went to the doctor and sought help for my depression

    2) I had a nice hot bath and just relaxed

I walked away from my computer and read a book in the sun. Later I will massage my feet.

I took my antibiotics for the past two days!

(I'm super horrible with remember to take medicine consistently, and these have to be taken every 6 hours, with one of the times being 3am) So it's kinda a big deal lol.

I had a pretty crap day, so I must say that my greatest achievement was NOT punching a hole in a wall.

But in all seriousness, I did get almost all of my jewellery sorted. I used to sell jewellery, so that's a big deal!

I took some "me" time and did some revisions on a manuscript I finished almost two years ago - I think it's my best work to this day because it really lets MY writing style and MY preferences for content shine. I also took another day to do some revisions on my most recently finished story draft - my second best work to date, and a rewrite of the one I got the first rejections for (along with invites to submit another, better written story in the future).

I also took some time off from researching to read a first draft by a friend of mine... He's good, and his potential is outstanding. I can see him getting on with a great publisher in time, if that's what he wants.

Spent time with my son. I've been working too many hours climbing the ladder and making the family financially secure, that I haven't actually spent time with the family. So set aside time each night to just hold him and get amazed how much he's grown in just three months
