Question What exactly makes someone a witch?

Just wondering what your different takes on this would be.

You are a witch if you practise witchcraft.. thats the short answer.

Witchcraft is any form of low Magick(Magick energised by Earthly Energies) - could be practiced by a Christian, Pagan, Satanist, Wiccan or whatever. Witchcraft is a practice.

Wicca, however was created by Gerald Gardner and Aleister Crowley and employs witchcraft. Wicca is a Pagan religion.

Wicca and witchcraft is not the same thing.

Can I also add that it's the practice of "magic"?

Although Gardner was greatly influenced by Crowley, and incorporated a lot of apropriate material of his, Crowley didn't have any conscious involvement with Wicca. The man didn't have anything good to say about witchcraft in general.
