Im a water Rat, my western sun-sign is Virgo and surprisingly they are remarkably similar. Having said that I wonder at Maddy's post.

Recently my husband and I were eating Chinese and of course on the table was one of those paper placemats and the Chinese Zodiac. We wondered the same thing about the years, my husband pointed out that although his sign is pretty accurate it didnt sum up his entire graduating class from years before

Anyway if anyone can enlighten me then I'de be grateful, I have to wonder if there is more to it than just the year. On the western zodiac I am Virgo BUT I have Gemini rising which makes a huge difference. Im sure Chinese zodiac falls into much the same category??

    Til next time,

    Goat

I'm an Earth Goat, born in a Wood year.
My significant other is an Earth Dog, born in an Earth year. One book says his element is earth and then in another location on the same page, it says it's metal . Go figure.

We are both Gemini and not supposed to get along. But we have a very good relationship, because we are alike and different enough to keep things interesting.

So, does anyone have an accurate source for info?

    Exclamation Oh Dear

Can someone interpret please?? I'm a Fire Goat. And boy does it pertain to me to a T! LOL Yep, born January 19, 1967. However, my husband, born August 8, 1962, a Water Tiger (and it fits him well too, I might add), well . . . is this really a match? It kinda does explain why we clash a bit and for strings of time when he really doesn't talk to me very much.

Is there an astrologer in the house?

    Thanks!

    Cool So many Rats...

There are more rats because our parents liked gettin' it on in 1959 or early 1960. Because of this significant time, we are more open minded and apt to allow some of their open mindedness into our lives and allow us to come together in this forum.

in the war between good and evil, evil usually wins unless good is very, very careful.
no matter how paranoid you are, you aren't paranoid enough.
