    Talking

Xentor, your accent is very British-sounding to my ears - something I didn't expect at all!

Although it's not very good quality, I think we may have everything here that's needed to do this, if someone wouldn't mind posting a tutorial of how.

(Since I think recordings of my voice sound like Minnie Mouse, I'm afraid you will all probably think I sound ridiculous!)

How to link to your sound file:

Do you know how to add a banner to your signature?
For a banner, you must put the image on some other web host, that allows "deep linking", i.e. direct linking to the content. Then you copy the image's web address and adorn it with [ img ] tags.

For a sound file, the same thing goes. Only instead of an [ img ] tag (which can only be used for images) you use an [ url ] tag, which can be used for any link, including sound files.

    Example:

    [ url ] http://mydomain/music.mp3 [ /url ]
(without all spaces, but with the square brackets) would have this result:
    http://mydomain/music.mp3

And if you want to have your own words instead of the full web address you can do something like this:
    [ url=http://mydomain/leaveamessage.mp3 ] Xentor's answering machine [ /url ]
(without all spaces, but with the square brackets) which would have this result:
    Xentor's answering machine

    Does that make sense?

Why is it that people always sound differently then we think they will? Anyway, Xentor, you have a nice voice.
