Past Life Dreaming

I wasnt really sure were this would go, so I put it here as its more to do with dreams really, but I haz question.

How possible is it that one would have dreams of past lives, er, naturally? Meaning without me really seeking out information. I've always wanted to know about them, but I havent done anything to gain the information.

Ok, I haz two questions....

How possible is it that you would be with the same person (your SO) in more than one lifetime and dream about said lives?

I ask, cause I have been having dreams, off and on for months now that includes myself and my husband. Its weird, while we dont excatly look like us, I know its us.

I dont know how I know, I just feel it. Like I know that the guy im with doesnt look like DH now, but it feels like DH. I dont mean feels like a husband, but feels like him. If that makes any sence at all.

Last nights dream was, wow...I dont remember alot of details but somehow or another the guy was my...slave...ish...type person? Or a captive or prisoner or something cause he was in er...shackles, I guess they would be called. Anyways I had some sort of connection with him.

I dont know excatly when the place/time was, but I had a really pretty medievily type dress on and really long hair. (It was a pretty dress, a deep forest green)

I went to see him, whereever he was being held. Really dark, and kinda damp. Wasnt cold, it was warm actually. But yeah, we did the deed...lol. Then got into an arguement cause he wanted me to let him go and I wouldnt cause Id get into big trouble, hed leave and get killed if caught, etc etc etc.

While not a topic obvisouly DH and I would argue about, the way the arguement went was like how we argue, lol.

I have dreams several times a year that I feel are past lives. They are usually more vivid than my normal dreams and I can remember them more clearly. I don't normally *plan* or try to have them, they just occur, always have. I strongly believe that we do know most the people in our lives from past lives. I think we are drawn together for a purpose, to help each other progress, and watch over each other. There are definetly bonds that transcend this life, imo. Its not surprising to me that you would dream of these past connections. I have all my life. I think its just your connection, an awareness of your spiritual side making itself known.

Most of the time, my dreams are..fuzzy. You know, I can sorta remember, but not details or as vividly.

Every dream, every one that has been vivid have been detailed, I remember the details, down to the feelings, smell, etc etc and its always has the feeling of someone I know (usually DH)

I dont have them alot, but id say ive had at least two the past month.

In answer to your first question from my point of view,

Consciousness is not governed by the concepts of time and space that govern the material World. Even in your normal waking life you can find your thoughts in past events or envisioning future events , this is born out in the most mundane things like planning the evening meal..That's where your thoughts are, at some point in the future. In fact being in the here and now is very difficult thing for many of us.

So as you can imagine. When you dream . Your awareness has left your sleeping body and finds itself many miles and years away. This is the reason the Dream environment seems so real.. It's because that is where your awareness is.

So I would have to conclude that because consciousness/Awareness can and does step out of time and space frequently. You are well able to experience both past and future lives and indeed the lives of others.

I am struggling to find how best to illustrate the concept of my thoughts in this respect.

If for example. You are doing something monotonous like driving a long straight road or the Ironing . You do ..for want of a better expression goof off.. Miles away ..but often no idea where until you return and wonder where the last 5 Miles went..Or boy I got through the ironing fast ..But the clock says it's 2 hours later..

I'm sure you get the general drift of my idea of the nature of consciousness and the very distinct possibility that a Human , Fleshy, material Body is merely a base of operations for it.

Hello all,

I too have had quite a few past life and futuristic dreams, as well as led meditations with a trust worthy and experienced friend, that produce the same results... the one's I keep are those which I can validate by research-

for example- in one around 600AD (I had the exact year but since have forgotten) I was with a man- my partner and we had a little round hut on a river bank, we worshiped a Goddess, and he was carrying a little curricle- a small round leather boat- I was tending a fire with herrings drying over it- I saw a sign pointing to a place called Wentworth. I drew the picture and fed in the year.

I came up with a little place on the River Severn where the goddess Sabrina was worshiped, in The United kingdom and they had just started and archeological dig and below the water line they had found the remnants of small round huts... I since have had a series of these including for example, Monmouthshire and a little place called Abernaut (no longer in existence)... the one in Abernaut was particularly specific as when I fed in the date- a shade ( quite confronting) came up and gave me a death certificate stating I had died of consumption- the exact name and date came up in the old Church Register.

Our body changes through our life process and the only thing left about the past is the memories its hard to know/remember how you looked couple of years ago unless u have pictures. You yourself dont see difference. Its the same in the dream as you know yourself from the essence and spirituality. It is like you see something related to you in a dream. You dont know what it is,but u recognize it from a feeling/smell/experience.

I believe that we can revert back to past lives, both in our dreams and awake. I have reverted to to a few different lives and relived scenes over. As for meeting the same people from old lives or falling in love with the same person again, it is very possible. In fact, my room mate and I have found that we have spent several lives fighting against or with each other in different battles. You'd be amazed how much from past lives carries over into your other lives. Some connections are just that strong...
