Yeah, it's some of the best fun a couple of people can have together. As well as being an excellent way for the first coven I was in to get to really know each other well. I've done that with my current group (on hiatus now) and I love seeing what others think of to try doing. One night we were passing the energy ball around the circle and one gal took the energy, pulled it into rope, and passed it in both directions. It was like having a gigantic hoola-hoop in the center of the circle with everyone holding onto it, and feeling the energy traveling in both directions, with everyone's energy mixing and rushing around the circle. It was amazing, I laughed and laughed.

I've found both books to be indespensible as Scott Cunningham focuses a lot of time in teaching the subject, and because it also deals with natural magick you go right into learning to tap into natural energy.

I loved the first book, but haven't ever read the second one. Which was a shame. Until I took a Reiki class I didn't know how to tap into universal or cosmic energy as well as earth energy. I was rather unbalanced, energy-wise.
Earth Power is a good place to start, but it shouldn't be the stopping place.
