So, what's everyone making for Christmas/Yule this year?
Just wondering what everyone has made/is making for Christmas/Yule.
Pictures would be great provided they are not going to spoil anyone's surprise ![]() For myself, I have just finished a topsy turvy Cinderella doll for my niece, a knitted Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for my nephew and am working on an angel lapghan (almost finished the crochet part but, my, there are a lot of ends to work in!) Looking forward to seeing what everyone has been doing ![]() A

This reminds me of all the quilts I've made in the past as Christmas presents. This year I bought faux-leather journals and I'm going to glue nifty jewelry findings onto the front of each. Might go shopping for some really nice pens to write in them with.

Not doing much crafting this year for gifts... I did a lot last year, and most of it went unappreciated.
I did crochet some wristwarmers for my best friend. I think she'll appreciate them, what with living in the Seattle area nowadays... And I'm supposed to be working on a few things for some secret santa swaps my sister is participating in- mostly some amigurumi things, and maybe a hat or two... She hasn't gotten me the yarn yet, so we'll see if those even happen... |

I'll be making a handful of dream-catchers to give out to the households in my family.
My roommate on the other hand will be getting an iPod so that I don't have to listen to her music anymore.

I'm hoping to learn to make a fancing ukrainian breaded bun cake thing. You know the ones where it looks like a cake and theres a pillar candle on top.
Probably having a few dinners with all sides of the family. And planning my daughters mini golf birthday.

I am drooling over your talent! All of my Christmas shopping is done. Thank you TV shopping networks. Now I can add little things to those gifts like the above wrist warmers for me and my favorite SIL or a warm hoodie for my favorite fisherman brother. |

I figure they'll work for either the Yule bunch or the Christmas bunch. The Yule folks can write notes on spells or something, kind of a mini BOS. The Christmas folks can use it for a Gratitute Journal.

I already made a grapevine/bittersweet wreath decorated with bright red rose hips (thorns removed), ribbon and crystal glitter "snow" for my sister-in-law.
I'm making bean bags, and possibly an "I spy" pillow for my niece. (Cut some clear vinyl from a blanket bag, old cosmetics pouch, or buy it at an upholstry shop. Piece strips of denim or fleece around it to make a "window", use this for the front of a pillow or soft cube. Fill with plasic pellets, Christmas "snow", or rice, and add several small objects: beans, paperclips, little toys, buttons, beads, pennies, diaper pins, nuts, crystals, dollhouse miniature accessories, Barbie shoes, etc. Sew a pocket on the back containing little cards that say "I spy..." and listing all or several of the objects inside. The child squooshes or shakes the pillow around for different objects to appear in the window.) I'd like to make chocolate peppermint cremes for my dad. I'll probably be buying my brother a full set of local hot sauces from Heartbreaking Dawn's.
