Cool Earthship?

I saw this concept on the travel channel and was amazed! Has anyone here heard about earth ship biotecture? It looks really cool, but I'm not sure if it will catch on.

Yup heard about it a long time ago.
The problem in an area like mine is building codes!!
Even driveways have to be done according to codes for type of pavement, thickness, width, etc.
Steps going into your home are regulated for type, depth and so on.
Windows, doors, everything is regulated.

So here our ordinances and building codes just dont allow new buildings to be like these types.

But new residential homes do pretty much all look alike!!! Gee I wonder why?
I'm being sarcastic because I hate our cosmetic building codes.

Great, where do I plug in my bubble bath, haha

Seriously though, I hope seeing more and more of these all around in the near future.

Earthships are nice, but I prefer Platinum OTG houses.
