sweater recons - share your favorite ideas!
I had so much fun making that shrug that now I'm ready to cut up more of my old sweaters!
I think I'm going to do a variation on this: http://www.timetape.com/?tag=flannel...ial%20part%201 but with a denim shirt instead of flannel. 'Cause I LIKE my flannel the way it is and don't want to cut it up - yet. And because the sweater I'm using has kind of an alpine pattern and I think it'll clash with plaid. What are your favorite reconstructed/refashioned sweater ideas?

Cut up sweaters= excellent and various horse friendly tools. Like small sweat towels, tail/ shipping padding, goo slathering, mouse hole stuffing, and so on.
Why wear a recon. sweater that a horse could ruin even more? ![]() My sister made a lovely sweater, hoodie and t-shirt blanket last year, it's wonderful. |
