Where to buy and find stones
I'm new to gemstone magic. I read Scott Cunningham's book on stones, rocks and metals, but unfortunately I forget the resources she listed for buying and finding your own stones.
Where to you buy your stones? Does anyone find their own in nature? JIf anyone has any tips on buy and finding stone, please share!

there are two places I know of that are close to you.
one is called Morgan's Caldron and is right on the corner of south st and 6th in philly. http://www.fodors.com/world/north-am...ew-106853.html another is right on south st 527 South Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19147 it is called Garland of Letters. It has a HUGE selection of stones(crystals) and books. many of the books are rare.

Do you have any caves near? I have found my best and most budget-friendly stones at local cave gift shops. Also I live near the Falls of the Ohio which also sells small stones..do you have anything local thats similar?

one good place to visit for crystals, books and more is http://www.bestcrystals.com/. it has a basic to intermediate level of stones and a go variety of stones.
