Confused about a dream
I don't really know where to start or what to include here. I guess I just need some ideas because I can't decide if I'm worried or not about what I dreamt last night.
A little background: I saw a counselor a few years back who was also Pagan and an elder in the community. We talked a lot about dreams. We figured out that my grandmother (who was like a second mom to me when my mom left and my dad raised my brother and I) is very important in my life. Her house, where I spent a lot of time as a child is a power place for me. When I dream things where I need personal strength, I ALWAYS dream of her house in some way. Either I'm in it or around the outside of it. Last week my grandmother went into the hospital with a blood sugar count of over 900. She was near comatose. I visited her every day and fed her ice chips and just spent time with her. She's 77. After the first visit I dreamt I was taking care of her on a regular basis. (she lives with her daughter - my dad's sister right now). (She moved in from her home - my power place this spring but I still dream of that house.) So last night... I dreamt that my grandmother introduced me to my great grandmother and great grandfather who passed before I was born. She introduced them to me on the 3 season porch of the house (my power place). And my uncle, her son, was there as well who passed away from Huntingtons disease just over 2 years ago. My great grandfather had me sit down near him or on his knee, I can't remember which, and he told me how beautiful I am. Not in a creepy way, in a proud way. Then my grandmother said, "don't forget about uncle Ron, he's here too" and pointed to my uncle sitting near. I went and kissed his cheek and said hello. I am really confused about this dream and not sure if I should be worried about myself, about my grandmother .. or if this is something entirely different and wasn't really "a dream". Any ideas? If you need more info, I can provide it. I wasn't sure what to include.
