Thanks, I think I understand it a bit more, so, it's not to become God, but, to become like Jesus, to evolve into someone like him, but, again sorry for all these questions, but, I just need to make sure I'm understanding it correctly, does becoming Christ like only refer to developing his Compassion and Love (which is a very worthy goal in and of itself), or does it also include being able to develop the same powers that Jesus possessed?.

Thanks for that quote, I actually think I have a lot more understanding of that now, so, thanks
. BTW, are there any good books, or sites, on the Desert Fathers (and Mothers, from what I heard, there were also great femaly Holy people in the Desert). Personally, I quite like learning more about the Desert Fathers, although, not many Christians seem to have heard of them, which is unfortunate, as I've read recently, the techniques they developed could rival the great systems of the East (Buddhist, Hindu, etc). St. Anthony seems an interesting figure, especially his battle with demons (whether they were his inner demons, taking on some kind of objective reality, I don't know). Quote:
