Some things which may be stepping stones along someones path may not serve another. If you feel the Munay-Ki is a hoax...then perhaps it is, for you.

I felt called to recieve these rites even before I knew what they were. And it is turning out to be a beautiful and beneficial practice to help give me a much needed nudge. People, the old ways are returning no matter what shape/way/form/tradition they take.

I like to peek around in these forums, but have never really felt called to respond to anything, but I really felt quite put off in the way some of you have responded to Falling Star's question. Perhaps the wise thing to do is hold the space for her and honor the fact that she is embarking on her healing journey. You go sister!

With Love,
Kibo

thankyou Kibomonster for your support.
I had forgotten that i had started this post! lol
i am reacting to a calling within, i dont have all the answers, but then i don't need to explain my path to anyone anyway!
I feel that these rites are given to the right people at the right time, and not everybody travels the same road!

All I can say is that P.T. Barnum also taught a series of classes.

Class 1: A fool and their money are soon parted.

Class 2: There is a sucker born every minute.

When you are teaching a series of topics and the native's that created the topic call foul then that should say something. But no skin off my nose. Heck maybe you'll find that elusive Medicine wheel in South America that no other native practioner has ever discovered but the Munay-Ki is going to teach you about.

you must know that i do have the greatest amount of respect for you !
you are a man of great wisdom, that is undeniable!
I will not be paying for the nine rites, they are being passed to me from a friend that has already taken them.
she did not pay teacher for them, only minimal price for time, which i feel is honourable!
I will however pay for the Pye stone, and i will be attuning her to reiki 111 as a trade.
I do feel however that my own guides have sanctioned this, as i feel the opportunity would not have arisen unless they had opened the door!
god bless!

Thank you for those kind words.

Ok now I am really curious. Your going to be taking a system of rites and rituals that you are going to learn second or third hand. Learning them based off of what someone else received from them yet not have any intereaction with the "teacher" that instructed the class.

Then use what is apparently another novice in the system to explain any details or confusion that may arise. Provide any indepth clarity and guidance for the whys, where for's and how's to understand the totality of the system.

Curious, if she did not pay for them it appears as if she was handed them as well. Further removing the "Spirit" from the "Practice" of it.

Seem's a poor trade off to take from one that is not skilled to a teacher level and pay for the less than truthful information you should be receiving from the class.

You do realize that our guides place foul before us just as easily as friend do you not? At times they can be a bigger impass to our training for they do not have the ability to smack us up beside the head when they place a bad situation before us to see what we shall do with it.

Just me perhaps but I would find it really strange that my guides would leed me to believe I can gain truthfulness from a series of lessons when the "Teacher" is not really qualified to teach me. I find that if your friend is so close to the gaining of the material she is probally far away from the understanding and wisdom that comes with using it and how to unravel its threads.

Then again if your not going through a documented teacher then you'll also not be recognized as having done the classes either.

I wish you luck and good fortune in your pursuits though I admit I am troubled by what you placed before here.

Okay, yes, to an extent, one's personal journey is of the utmost importance, and we need to listen to that. However, we do nothing in a vacuum. The actions and choices we make do have effects on others, and giving money and even energy/attention to fraudulent rites and services harms the people who are being defrauded, as well as the person providing money/energy/etc. to the defrauders. Would you embark on a rite of passage if you knew it would make another person ill? Probably not. So why make use of something that could very well cause problems for other people, even if it's not something as immediately obvious as a physical illness?

All I'm saying is *think* about what you're doing before you go leaping blithely off a cliff led by your "personal path".

Thankyou for your input Lupar Bitch,
my guides have advised me that only those who think harm, are capable of causing it!
I am a trained Reiki Master/teacher, my purpose is to help humanity, i come from a place of love..and light!
I do all my healing for free, and i also so far have trained reiki Masters without fee!
I do not feel qualified to comment any further on Munay-ki, ...................I have to walk the walk,...........in order to be able to talk the talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My original purpose in coming to this forum, was to ask opinions, and i respect the opinions given!
I work with Shamanic guides, also feel past life connections strongly.
I will walk the pathway that opens up for me, i will walk it with pride, knowing that i may stumble along the way, but all experience................teaches wisdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
god Bless!!

If only that were true. What about my husband who accidentally hit and killed a dog that ran too fast in front of our car to avoid was thinking harmful thoughts; or anyone who has ever said anything mean to their significant other in the heat of a fight; or vegetarians who eat ground-up insects in their grains? All these are forms of harm; albeit unintentional, but intent and impact are often two different things. Many of the people who culturally appropriate don't actually intend to cause harm--*but the impact is still the same as if they had*.
