Embarrassed conservation camp

so a while back I had this dream where everybody I knew was in this conservation camp, scheduled to be killed. The camp had no gates, no fences and no guards. All it had was a few non-descript, bland buildings.
I broke in so to speek to try and help the people I knew escape, but none but a few would listen to me. In the dream they all stood stone still staring off at nothing. The few that did follow me was a guy I didnt really consider a good friend, my gf, my eldest brother and like 3 others.
Well as we were leaving, we turned and looked back at the conservation camp in the distance, and then it exploded into a mushroom cloud. Any ideas?

I wonder if this is not supposed to be a concentration camp vice a conservation camp? One is associated with Nazi Germany and mass murder the other with the Conservation Corps of the 1930's.However, the dream in general reminds me of the story of Sadoman and Gamorha (sp) in the bible. A few saved, the pillar of flame when Lott's wife turns to look back. Beyond that nothing stands out to me and triggers any other meaning.

I've never heard of a 'conservation camp'. Perhaps you mean 'concentration camp'?

People being detained in a camp with no fences or gates sounds like clinical depression. But that's all I've got.

A second though did occur to me. That is the notion that we are trapped and bound by our own lack of action or willingness to take action. In your dream there is nothing holding them there except their own lack of action to leave. They simply stand mute before the winds of change and allow them to blow over them but take no action.

The final explosion is sort of symbolic in that to do nothing will result in our own final demise. We will simply waste away and be destroyed by our lack of desire.

I would be curious to hear why you think you were able to save just certain individuals. To me that implies you see them in danger of some sort where they are not acting upon some force blowing against them. Yet feel you have some right or responsibility to make them act, even if it is only for your design and disire to do so.

well, yes, I didnt mean conservation... forgive my mis-use of the english language. I never felt it was necessary to point out mistakes when one understands the intent of what was meant.

Moving on to the first and third response...

Personaly I do not see a need for forgiveness for it was not done with malice at heart. However the point from my perspective did need to be clarified as I am familiar with both concentration and conservation camps.

Conservation camps as done in the US in the 1930's did somewhat match what you described. They were rough shod camps that were placed in the middle of now where and housed workers that were predominately employed in the creation of many national parks in my area (Virginia - created the Shenandoah National Park for one). The main thing is most simply refered to them as CC (Conservation Corps) camps.

A lot of them were run military style (actually overseen by military officers in most instances) with many of the same restrictions placed upon the workers right down to how much time was alloted for everything. Freedom was actually very limited and many times the workers had no place to go once they signed on with transportation being very limited. With them being in remote mountain areas many times it did seem like one was lost and just stared into the wilderness.

Granted they did truck the workers into the larger cities and towns on payday but those were every few weeks at best and many of the workers sent all thier money home to families. After all it was the time of The Great Depression.

We do understand that English is not always the first language of the members who post here. That is why we were trying to be sure what you were talking about rather than pointing out a mistake. I prefer to be sure of the intent before giving any advice or feedback.

Kevoc, to me it sounds like you're moving forward in your life. Perhaps away from a depressing or controlling situation? I'm not certain of your age, but are you still living with parents or guardians? or a controlling partner maybe?
