Spica-The nature spirit/? Fey I saw when I was little and still occasionally see(Only seen her once since I moved to my current home, so since I was about 7) looked pretty much like a normal person. Not like a flash of light. She didn't "talk" so much as you knew what she meant without talking though. No wings, nothing really fancy. Mostly I remember her face, which looked very human. Her clothing, I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember it as being slightly strange, like more along the lines of boy's clothing from what I wrote in my diaries, which probably meant it was blue or green.(My mother dressed me in orange and red when I was little. I wanted blue/green clothes, which were seen as boy colors, but darn, I looked dying in orange and my parents both regret dressing me in those colors now!) The last time I saw her, she appeared about my age, which would have been an earlier teen. When I was little, she looked about my age as well. She seemed very nervous the last time she saw me till she realized who I was to be honest, then she stayed and joked a little bit with my violin. So although I see her as a physical person, and she's done things like breaking a violin string, I don't see any light with her. However, I see the Gods as people when they appear to me, or as an animal upon occasion, not as light, which does differ from a lot of people's ideas of them.
If people here think sparks and such are "Fey", then I'll have to investigate more into them, since I often see such things in my garden, but always thought it was just glare from the sun. We do an offering 2x a year for the Fey there, and I know I saw the spirit I knew once(I swear her name was Margot or something along those lines. It sounded like a very strange version of Margret.) was there at one point in time. The offerings I've done with my family are milk(Cheese would attract rodents.) and grain, generally oatmeal. If it's oatmeal, get the good stuff, not the instant!(Well, that's my personal bias, no real basis in religion.). We offer it in a copper bowl leaving it out for a night then burying/burning(depending on permits) any that isn't gone.(Generally, it's all gone, but we do have some wild animals around.) I think the only important part would be to make sure it's not iron. We generally tell them to flat out not take the bowl if they want more offerings, and it hasn't gone missing yet.
